I have built on every one of Thorne Brothers blanks for ice and have 4 open water rods from them I love their rods! I also have picked up many many musky lures from them So I understand the loyalty thing I have been following this thread closely to see what might work for me I make my own rods and like how Thorne Brothers sells their blanks

Anyone have any experience with both of the thorne bros rods? Looking at adding a heavy stealth and an XH predator in the off season when they are running deals I have heard the stealth heavy is in between a predator heavy and predator XH

Paul and Gregg thorne are from Bemidji mn and built a store in Blaine So I don’t see the difference besides preference of rods Where do the blanks for jt or tucr come from I doubt they are all us products I’m with you But if we have a choice Do we continue with China or take a step back?

Thorne Brothers has the best Musky blanks out their period Their predator rods are top notch I bought my first predator over 15 years ago and it still holds strong today I ended up selling off my St Croix Legend Tournament musky rods and now have a Predator MH, H, XH, XXH, and F-90M The XH gets used the most They can’t be beat

Been fishing Thorne Bros 28″,32″ and 36″ Panfish sweetheart rods for about 10 yrs at least Thorne Bros rods are the best IMO Good to hear positive reviews on the Quiverstick, been thinking about ordering one

Recently found out about Elliot and 2B rods ice fishing which are made by the Thorne Bros (Paul Gregg) who sold Thorne Bros and then later started Elliot rods Elliot rods appear to be their premier line while 2B is their value brand rods I went to Reeds in Onamia and checked them out and they seemed nice
