We have standard Medicare A and B, with a secondary federal employees BC BS policy We've never been approached about in home health assessments, and I'd refuse if they offered them I have, however, received automated telephone and mailed post-cards from BC BS offering to set up appointments with one of their pharmacists to discuss my medications

Agreed about the governments, it would take the people to revolt but they don't care There isn't even clear information about everything that is going on or how to avoid as much as possible, especially in our homes But people embrace all the tech and the tech is just spy tools We are accepting change but in the worst way

At-home care is really not an option, especially when you live 6 hours away Your mom needs 24 7 care, which is not a realistic option for at-home care At-home care is much more expensive than memory care, and not feasible when you are not nearby to handle the inevitable healthcare worker no-shows
