- Password Managers for NAS? : r synology - Reddit
It consists of a front end (the GUI) and a back end (the data) In my case the Synology is just a storage medium for the back end I use Synology Drive Client to sync that file (and many others) with my computers That way I always have an up to date copy of the password data to interface with the front end running on those computers
- Password manager for Synology? : r synology - Reddit
My Synology is set to sync that file with OneDrive using Cloud Sync Whether I am using KeePass on my phone or PC, I always have a current database file Reply reply
- Password manager : r synology - Reddit
But be willing to pay for family access However, how secure would you say it is? Personally I feel it sounds fine and synology being security conscious(or I hope so atleast) paired with other synology services I got running I have seen bitwarden which looks also nice but 1 big flaw, forgotten password You ain't getting anything back
- Is Synology C2 Password a good replacement for 1Password and . . . - Reddit
C2 also confirms to me that they do, in fact, encrypt site urls within the vault A TOTP authenticator is also included, along with a secure file transfer capability All in all, a very viable alternative Most of these password managers work in a very similar fashion, with slightly different feature sets and price points
- How to Self-host bitwarden on a Synology NAS : r Bitwarden - Reddit
I've been using bitwarden for the past 4-5 years (switched from LastPass) and couldn't be happier Out of all the applications I've used, bitwarden has become my favorite and I have slowly converted everyone close to me into a bitwarden user Major props to the devs for creating an amazing, transparent password manager
- Lastpasss free tier is getting worse : r synology - Reddit
Bitwarden also supports multiple user accounts who can have their own password DBs and share passwords with one another, but I don’t use this feature at the moment I can’t remember which guide I followed, but I am running bitwarden-rs as a Docker container on my DS1520+
- What is the best password management tool to run on Synology DS?
I think others have already covered why not to self-host a password manager (I certainly don't consider myself qualified to do that) so I'll just say that I use 1Password and find to be excellent for the uses you mention Bitwarden is certainly one of 1Password's main competitors; 1Password has been around a decade longer than Bitwarden
- C2 Password vs 1Pass, Dashlane, etc : r synology - Reddit
I'm trying to understand what C2 Password is Seems like a password manager, with all the bells and whistles we would want like cross-platform, multiple devices, etc It seems that ANYONE can get an account, and that it's free IE, I do not need to own a Synology device, and it just works
- Password Manager? : r synology - Reddit
Is there a password manager for a Synology NAS? Something like 1Password, but ummmmm Free? :)
- Synology C2 Password Manager to Bitwarden (. csv) formatter . . . - Reddit
Now that I created this translation map, all I needed to do was pluck it into a Python script using the pandas library module and wallah, you got yourself an importable csv file for both Bitwarden and Vaultwarden from Synology C2 Password Manager's csv format Unfortunately, it isn't magic There are downsides
