I noticed that bad weather isn’t really showing consistently in general since a few weeks months, not depending on the aircraft-addon but already on the map (key « m ») I was also flying around the hurricane and on skyvector a huge area was completely covered with yellow red weather-returns

Second - the current weather radar in X-Plane knows NOTHING about the weather in X-Plane It simply copies whatever your NORAD weather data shows (you can enable it in the map view to doublecheck) on the screen The weather in X-Plane is not generated from NORAD data, so significant differences may occur

Hi guys - I simply cannot get the Toliss A319 weather radar to work using 'manually configured' or 'match real word conditions' weather settings However, the weather radar does work if I select the 'stormy' preset I do not use any addon weather plugins and I have read just about every forum post on this subject Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Also, with the weather radar controls, i find that if i click the mode buttons like the test button too many times, it just sticks and the click sound doesnt play anymore

The weather map works OK for me though I suspect a simmer with limited Met knowledge would struggle to make sense of it You need to appreciate the units displayed and the patterns on the coverage map for each individual display category In some modern airliners, that display is built into the systems
