Same I wouldn't mind trying the harder difficulties if the difficulty was heightened differently I don't like the idea of the AI just getting a treasure chest of resources and we just get taxed to make it more artificially difficult It's like playing checkers with half of your pieces at the start, instead of just facing a more difficult player

I've played Stellaris in the past and I've noticed that early on I have a difficult time with the AI (which I enjoy), but after a few years I just snowball past them and it's not as fun I can't use Dynamic Difficulty mod or Glavius's mod because they're not updated to the new game version

Also to OP, don't feel like you HAVE to play on higher difficulties It may seem like every Stellaris player on the internet plays on Grand Admiral 25x crisis strength, but remember that the regular folk who play on Cadet Ensign are the majority, they just don't have much reason to talk about it
