Def not complaining but my gas bill on average is usually $5-6 a month I live in an 1140sf condo and been here about a year no spike Utilities in my previous homes have always been included, so no comparison, but feel most ppl complain about their gas bill being too high

SoCalGas is a public utility, it is regulated by the PUC, they aren't allowed to simply charge what they want They don't produce gas; they distribute it They have to purchase it from suppliers; the retail consumer rate reflects the rates they negotiated in the summer, plus any shortfall covered on the spot market They aren't gouging
