The SA22C is the same as an FB You have 3 generations of RX7 and 8 series each containing many different editions FB 1979-1985 (series 1-3) FC 1985-1991 (series 4-5) FD 1991-2002 (series 6-8) As mentioned there are many sub models for each generation

As someone who daily drove an 83 RX7 out of high school and through college I can confidently say, don't do it Parts break and are available for purchase, but it'll be about two weeks before it shows up I ended up buying a Walmart fall apart pedal bike with a 50cc two-stroke engine attached to it The bike was often more reliable than the car

The NA rx7’s are much more reliable than the turbo ones Rx8 is about as reliable as a turbo, maybe even less When my fc was NA I had issues with the driveshaft, water pump and also the wiring to the battery This were things that took the car off the road or made it so I couldn’t start it But yeah, not a good idea at all

Like I said supply and demand Find another 94 silver rx7 under 70k miles theres probably 5 unmodded and well kept If this particular car needs repair, rebuilt etc well that obviously effects the price I also said this is on the high side, a site like BaT, silver 94s today will bring 35k+ Again provided its well kept, compression good etc

It's just the engine and fuel injection related stuff For those others, they are turbo will always be more complex At that point, you're better better off with a well built rotary It can be as fast as an rx7 every needs to be on the street (anything past 400-450 on an FC is almost unusable) while still being very drivable

Veilside rx7 is one of my favourite cars of all time Unpopular but in my opinion stock rx7 even tho its a great car its not a good looking car With the kit on its both a great car and it looks sexy Idc about authenticity or if it looks like an RX7 I'm not a purist All I care about is having a complete car

I've used plain old Castrol GTX 20-50 the entire time I've owned an rx7 and it's great If you store it outside and drive in cold weather, run 10-30 when it's cold Once you start pushing big power, ditch the omp and run a high quality synthetic

I have a 1987 Rx7 FC, and it won't start I've tried a couple of different things to start it, such as spraying starting fluid into the intake and changing the plugs Still no start It cranks well, the fuel pump pumps fuel and I hear the injectors working
