Has anyone been to the 5 day workshops or skills week at NECCA? They have two coming up this summer and I am interested in the one in June I am curious what the demographics are of those who attend I am intermediate level for aerial hoop and beginner on trapeze and hammock I have not done silks yet I have done acroyoga for ten years

How does it compare to the NECCA skills week (which I have seen mentioned on this reddit a few times)? This is my first time signing up for an aerial intensive I have several years experience in Silks and would say I am at an intermediate level

Silks is tough on your grip and your forearms! It was the first aerial apparatus I learnt, and for the first few months my fingers would ACHE in the mornings like I was well, much older Newbies tend to over-grip due to nerves and unfamiliarity, so make sure to warm up your fingers before class, and do stretches afterwards
