Fast forward to beginning of last year, 2020, I decided to haft the harbor freight hatchet with a wooden handle to satisfy a bushclass elective I had already thinned the cheeks down once And I decided to take them down even more with a set of flap wheels and angle grinder before hafting it The steel on mine is soft
- Harbor Freights new Predator Power Station, $200
If I needed a portable solar power station today I might give one a try I have an All Powers solar power station with similar specs It fulfils my requirements for charging devices and occasionally running a few low power items Nice thing about Harbor Freight is I can walk out the door with one
- Harbor Freight canvas tarp shelter options. . . . Which to chose?
Harbor Freight also sells 6x8 and 8x10 canvas tarps in green All are in 10oz canvas I'm leaning towards the 8x10 tarp, as that's a size I'm more used to and would be less work than having to modify and waterproof a drop cloth
- Another Harbor Freight Firemans hatchet modified
I picked up another hatchet because I really was impressed with my first one This one needed a longer handle though as the 19 25 inch handle it comes with is just a little short for me at 6ft This one is mounted on a Link 28 inch boys axe handle that needed a LOT of modification to fit this

X39, Thanks for the in depth review of the Harbor Freight survival Kit, I'm not much of a fan of pocket survival kits especially the smaller candy box type, like many people on this forum I had my go at putting a few together out of fairly decent quality items I and most of us collect over the years, but in testing them in real time on outings
- Harbor Freight Hatchet -- Total Transformation! - Bushcraft USA Forums
Last summer, I purchased a hatchet from Harbor Freight, gave it a total makeover, and then promptly proceeded to almost cut my finger off with it! Since then, it has been neglected and unloved, not only due to the accident, but also due to its sucky handle and poor balance A few days ago, however, I finally changed that for good
- New Harbor Freight Knife Find - Bushcraft USA Forums
I don't do to Harbor Freight for outdoors knives Lol I'm mixed on this a genuine Buck isn't much more expensive, but there's also people not as well off as I am The pattern is iconic, and easily recognized I also own a couple Chinese made knives that are decent
- Removing impeller form Harbor Freight DC - General Woodworking - The . . .
I purchased a Harbor Freight dust collector and intend to upgrade the impeller I am having a serious issue getting the stock impeller off I have never done this before and do not want to mess up the impeller (incase I need it for later) or the shaft I purchased a set of gear pullers and still cold not get it to come off
