From what I found in talking to my personal insurance agent, Progressive is a really good company that pays fast on claims, and is known for not getting into the crappy games that many insurance companies like to play I ended up signing with them today after an insurance broker told me that they were going 48 states Here's what I ended up with:

You better find another insurance company now When they cancel your policy, they also let the feds know they’ve canceled your policy Your dot#’s are suspended Don’t get caught driving that truck You need to find another insurance policy asap

I checked with Progressive They don't charge us to add Additional insureds more than $100 for the year They don't charge for certificates I didn't actually get a quote from Great West First agent said, Great West can't compete with Progressive's quote per underwriter And two other agents don't work with Great West

As an O O that has had Progressive for 2 years now, yes, all new entrant’s must have 500 or greater miles radius Do not let anyone or agent tell you otherwise Also, keep in mind that Progressive holds mileage radius from where the truck is parked It does not consider mileage radius based upon load locations

For my regular auto insurance, I had Allstate until last year when I moved to Progressive Allstate raised my premium after one totaled car(my son's) I had Allstate for over two decades in Illinois They were pretty good The dealer in Wisconsin told me Progressive is the best I didn't know it operates differently in different states

1st year in they quoted me 29k in payments 25k cash progressive is a terrible company Had a not at fault accident in 2021 had Northland Was paying 9k a year for my own authority Progressive was the only one who would give me insurance after it was 19k in payments 16k cash last quote for 2024 was 23k cash I said screw it closed the company

Yea I'm sure there is a bit of that as well I also know my private policy is via progressive and that it's price has gone down over time Could be a company thing but I suspect all insurance companies will do that to keep you I think after the 3rd year or so you have a better bargaining chip when transferring to a new company though

Yep, for the truck Dealt with an agent that only does trucking insurance and that’s what he came up with Just switched our personal vehicle to Geico from Progressive today Ended up being $800 cheaper for same coverage Got a quote from them on homeowners insurance also but they’re about $2k more than Progressive
