- The Good and the Beautiful reviews! : r homeschool - Reddit
I love the good and the beautiful As a first time homeschooling mom of first third and fifth grade, I love that it is open and go The lessons are explained extremely well The lessons do not take a long time, and the artwork is breathtaking I love that I am able to learn right along with my kids
- Newbie here- looking for some reviews on The Good and the Beautiful
The Good and the Beautiful was created and written by Jenny Phillips who is a Mormon There is no Mormon influence in The Good and the Beautiful I am a Bible Believing Christian (Southern Baptist for reference) and DO use and love this curriculum
- The Good and The Beautiful curriculum : r homeschool - Reddit
It’s beautiful (and pretty good ;) ) Seriously, the pages themselves are aesthetic, which isn’t the best for printing costs but oooo, pretty! There are some religious references throughout interspersed in grammar lessons or math word problems
- Switching from The Good and the Beautiful curriculum to . . . - Reddit
For the past couple years I have been using The Good and the Beautiful homeschool curriculum and have loved it This year I've transitioned out of religion and have become an atheist I really love how TGTB is open-and-go and is high quality My question is this:
- The Good and The Beautiful language arts : r homeschool - Reddit
We only used the Good and the Beautiful for half a year of level 4 for my youngest, and a full year of high school for my oldest so I don’t have a ton of knowledge on those middle levels I found the program to be lacking in many areas, (especially at the high school level)
- Simply Good and Beautiful math : r homeschool - Reddit
In the good and the beautiful and at the review she couldn't answer a single question correctly It was very frustrating for her and I, as we felt like we had wasted all of that time It would have been nice to know she wasn't retaining anything earlier
- Has anyone used The Good and Beautiful? : r homeschool - Reddit
As for the Good and Beautiful-I have heard that you might have to start a grade lower than what your child is in Like kindergarten work was more like 1st grade work so look into that I can't recall if they offered a placement test but some do They do have the sample pages to look at

I think it’s good for a neurotypical kid and isn’t dogmatic and easy to adapt for non-Christians I switched to Blossom and Root as I needed something for my son who has learning differences Unfortunately, Blossom and Root isn’t as intensive on grammar (it doesn’t include it) so I had to get a separate curriculum to add coverage for
- How do I make beautiful UIs? : r Frontend - Reddit
A good UI is not only a beautiful UI, but so much more You should look into courses for UI design Focussing on a framework is a short term and narrow solution, that can make beautiful UI's, but not per say good and usable UI's The best answer right now is: start learning UI design and in a few years you can design good UI's
- How religious is The Good and the Beautiful? : r homeschool - Reddit
I actively use The Good and The Beautiful with my third grader for ELRA It teaches good morales mainly and once in a great while might reference Jesus Christ There is no dogma or doctrine taught in it If you were an atheist, then you might take issue but you could easily edit it Our son has ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia and it works great
