I know the general consensus with most extended warranties or protection plans is they are not worth it I’ve actually never purchased an extended warranty in my life But, I’m curious if anyone has experience with Home Depot’s protection plan It’s done through Allstate which for me is a reputable company Anyone have any thoughts?

Not Home Depot, but we always buy our appliances through Best Buy have their total tech membership We find it worth it Our brand new LG washer started being super loud after about a year They sent someone out the ended up replacing it for free It’s nice because we get our phones, TVs, and appliances there

Home Depot is an interesting place Most chain stores or box stores usually have a similar environment Home Depot is the exception to the rule I've compared stories with other HD associates that work at nearby stores, and their stores are run SO much differently

I'm all for supporting local, but pbs mbs is often very expensive compared to Home Depot Sometimes, it's for a better quality item, but often that is not the case I'm not excited about funneling more money to Arthur Blank or whoever it is that makes the most from Home Depot, but I am excited about keeping more money in my pocket
