My Etrade investing accounts started giving errors when I tried downloading I was prepared to have to do much more, but I found that I only had to update the account number for each of my ETrade investment accounts and the download just worked I didn't have to do "reset account" or deactivate reactive online transactions

Etrade has been connecting just fine via Direct Connect until last Friday when the Windows version of Quicken would not connect The Mac version works with no issues and continues to work I tried disconnecting and reconnecting and now I can only connect via EWC on the Windows machine

Yes I am using the one called "E*Trade Bank" with the blue purple logo and the URL us etrade com I have tried to use a few of the others (ETRADE - Advisor, E*Trade Advisor Services) but they either did not work, or they linked an account (found the brokerage) but only provided the "simplified" investor data (which actually removed items from the account!

Apparently, this problem has been occurring since Jan 2023, but I only noticed it today (Jan 2024) Every dividend transaction from eTrade Morgan Stanley appeared in Quicken as a Deposit Every Re-invested Dividend transaction appeared as two transactions, a Deposit and a Reminder

If we can't download transaction level data from Morgan Stanley or Etrade, I'm going to be forced to change brokers [Removed - Rant Disruptive] Will this be remedied soon or not? I have decades of data and am not about to be pulled back to the 20th century because Quicken and MS didn't understand how important transaction level data is to

I am using the direct connect option in Quicken 2016 RPM QWIN to Etrade The account type is RSU and ESPP I see the stock holder account with cash balance, but the RSU ESPP account just shows $0 00 with no holdings downloaded

As of 9 1 23 when Etrade converted to new 9 digit account numbers, the transactions for my brokerage IRA accounts will not download I have followed their instructions to deactivate my Quicken accounts, have updated the account numbers re-linked them thru set up now in Quicken restarted Quicken several times

My ETrade account was transitioned to the new Morgan Stanley platform this weekend, following the acquisition In their FAQ (General Changes section), it says: "Share quantity for your portfolio and watch list positions will be rounded and adjusted to three decimal places (from five decimal places previously)
