Because MySpace "accidently" deleted EVERYTHING EVERY SINGLE USER EVER UPLOADED before the year 2016 It's all gone I was able to view all my old teenage MySpace pics just like 5 years ago But this mass deletion just happened in 2019 So no They're gone, all of ours, forever I knew I should have transferred those old pics when I had the chance

I remember Facebook having plug-ins such as bumper stickers where you can dress up your page a little like MySpace for a while and then they disabled it as people started making malicious plug-ins There may have been a music player plug in as well

This is the exact problem Politics shouldn't be allowed in regulated social media like it is now Basically it's just about scoring brownie points instead of what it was originally created for Myspace and Facebbok are both guilty of throwing themselves away to align with public opinion and money Myspace failed and Facebook arguably took over for them And lately my belief on this has been

The problem with old Myspace pages is that at one point they changed something about the architecture of the site itself and that change messed up many old profiles and photos and a lot of people never logged in to fix the issue Some profiles and photos might actually be bricked and unrecoverable
