- What tools do you all use to control fan speeds? : r Noctua - Reddit
Hello, back in the good old days I used the software called "SpeedFan" to control all my fan speeds, it was an awesome and easy to use and setup tool where you could define graphs with speeds and temperatures for all your sensors and link your fans to specific sensors (for example link a fan blowing through the sidedoor onto the GPU to the GPU temperature and obviously the fans on CPU cooler
- How do you all manage your fan speeds? : r buildapc - Reddit
GPU fan is based on GPU temp and CPU fan is based on CPU temp I have them speed up as they approach temp throttling points, and I keep the fans at a constant quiet speed bellow that point Case fans I keep at a constant quiet flow, but I have them set to ramp to 100% if the CPU gets near the temp limit
- Ryzen fan curve settings : r Amd - Reddit
Example: 45% fixed fan speed until 65c (if 62c is max temp spike, add 2-3c to it to get 65c for extra buffer) Starting from 65c let it go up to 100% fan speed at 75c Keep making small adjustments until your happy Your curve's gonna be steep on the end because of bios limitations, most bios should let ya run up to 85c or 90c Just tough luck
- ThinkPad Fan Control : r thinkpad - Reddit
Try TPFanControl in manual mode (fan goes from 0 to 7, 64 is emergency extreme speed, 128 is automatic speed) If it works fine, you can adjust the setting for Smart Mode 1 by opening the "edit TPFanControl ini" shortcut, scroll down until you find the lines beginning with Level= and creating the fan curve you want (Read the instructions in
- A tool that enables manual fan control on Dell laptops - Reddit
Also note that the fans' actual maximum speed may be higher than what you get if you set the speed to "100%" For example, in the Precision 7530, setting the speed to "100%" puts the fans at 4200 RPM, but if the EC is in charge of the fans and the system is under load it may push the fans up to 4800 RPM
- Control center fan control : r gigabyte - Reddit
Hey, I have a gigabyte motherboard and a Ryzen 7800x3D CPU I downloaded the gigabyte control center and am able to set the fan speed to either silent, normal, fullspeed or manual
- The best fan control app Ive used on Windows 11 : r Windows11 - Reddit
You can set the speed based on GPU temp or CPU temp or you can even set it based in both temps where the fan speed is determined based on which component is hotter I haven't done the mixed curve yet but I can say that having it based on GPU temp works great Under heavy load (Topaz Video Enhance AI) my GPU never got over 62 degrees
- I finally conquered PETG. Heres yet another guide for dialing . . . - Reddit
Set fan to turn on at 50% speed after the first 3 layers Note: going above the nozzle size for the line width created more gloopy nozzle buildup for me on solid infills Before printing, set the print to create a skirt of 5 lines or so about 20mm away from the print area
- What speed should my fans be at on my gaming PC?
For a CPU fan for example you could set a ramp (in Bios or in overclocking software) of 0% fan speed at 30 degrees ramping up to 100% fan at 70 degrees C In theory this might give an optimum quiet fan when the PC is doing light work and fast fan speed when it is pushed hard This is probably the most common approach
- Whats the ideal fan curve percentages vs Temps? : r pcmasterrace - Reddit
Keep the fan curve at the lowest speed up to 50 degrees 0% 25% at 50 degrees 45% at 60 degrees 65% at 70 degrees 100% at 80 degrees If this situation does not satisfy you; Increase each degree by 10 For example, 50 is not 0%, but 60 is 0% 80 degrees is 100% good for the fan, do not touch it
