I agree that UCSD is a miserable place to work Pay is substandard for the area Workload is obscene Lots of leadership level people only care about themselves and their own raises (Khosla, for example, getting a $500k raise) while the people who do the work are gaslit and are still at least 5-7% behind inflation with simply making the same salary as they started
