You will have the Barclaycard Cashback credit card presumably, which earns 0 5% cashback This is the Barclaycard Rewards credit card, which earns half that Your card can't simultaneously be both and unless you do a lot of spending overseas I can't see a good reason to transition!

If you have a credit on a card (which the banks won't like) you can then move the money from the card and pay off your friend So if you then take the money off the card via an ATM (assuming your card is completely in credit) then you can deposit that into a current account and transfer it to your friend

I've been facing an issue for quite a while where my Barclaycard credit card isn't showing up in the app This is more of an issue now as I'd like to switch over to a different card, but based on chats with their support team, this is only possible via the app - which I'm unable to do because of this issue

I just applied for a Barclay Amazon credit card after reading the Weekly Email and got a £50 Amazon gift card and the cashback is better than the Pulse credit card I currently use The only downside is I just bought my daughter a £400 freezer last week and paid it using the Pulse card and there is no cashback for balance transfers

Also like other posters have said, doing this you are not taking advantage of the interest-free period of at least one month

I had the Asda credit card and thought about transferring the balance I owe (£700) to a 30 month no interest account which is the Barclay credit card Well if you're planning to transfer an existing balance from an Asda card, then another Asda card is no good - you can't (usually) transfer balances between cards owned by the same group

I settled and closed a Barclaycard Credit card in August 2019 I received a text a few weeks ago, advising that I was in line for a refund This message seemed completely out of the blue and my initial thoughts were, I don’t believe this to be true At this stage I didn’t pursue it any further
