Using an environment light with a portal is equivalent to creating a standard geometry light with physically correct attenuation, no intensity normalization, and transform into this object enabled

I'm running into trouble when trying to use "Set Parameter" and "Disable" operators in Arnold for Houdini I'm trying to either set intensity to 0, or disable the light all together for certain passes (or even just change the visibility to camera)

You need to be in High Quality Lighting mode in order to see the effects of an environment light in H13 Can't tell if you are or not, as that part of the screenshot is cut off It's in the upper part of the right viewport toolbar

We decided to make it easy on the user side and simply export v@Cd and f@intensity directly to the instanced lights if those attributes are present on the template points Currently we only support those two but if you need control over other light parameters, just ping us and we'll add it
