- Fonts specifically for plasma cutting - Langmuir Systems Forum
Any font can be used for plasma cutting There are some that just won’t work well though Papyrus comes to mind Any font with extremely fine detail flourishes or stroke portions can lose those details when the plasma’s kerf is accounted for Blocky fonts, stenciled ones for folks who don’t want to manually add bridges are very safe

- Cut charts for everlast plasma - Langmuir Systems Forum
I use F5 bend of nitrogrn and hydrogen for cutting stainless steel I have 3 large bottles of it plumbed into plasma cutter via hydrogen regulators F5 gas cuts very similar to nitrogen or air It leaves the edges of the stainless smooth and clean It requires less amps and faster speed due to the hydrogen molecules So I’m told It works well
- Everlast Power Plasma 82i (two month review) - Plasma Cutters . . .
So about two months ago I hooked my Everlast Power plasma 82i to my Crossfire Pro table I wired it up using the CNC plug that comes with the 82i I’m using the raw voltage and trigger pins on the CNC plug The one word that best describes my experience with the Everlast 82i would be “consistent” Using the 1 3mm tips @75 amps I can cut 11 gauge at 220 IPM, 1 4" @100ipm, and 1 2" @ 50ipm

- Clearing up confusion of HF vs Non-HF Plasma cutters
Note: Most HF plasma cutter (but not all) have a built in gap between the electrode and the cutting tip This is like a spark plug gap Note: All electrodes (negative) are isolated from the outer threads (positive) on all plasma cutters HF as well as blow back units Now first all HF plasma cutters do NOT have a pilot arc

- Low budget plasma cutters for CNC - Plasma Cutter Compatibility . . .
Yes, I would go with a Razorcut or an Everlast PT60 style torches have reasonably priced consumables as well You are looking for a plasma cutter with a “Pilot Arc ” Check your local craigslist for cheap used plasma cutters as well HF units are getting harder and harder to find (good) so just make sure it is a pilot arc ignition
