- Babylist sucks. A warning for those making their registries soon
I have had the worst experience with babylist y’all! I was totally sold by their marketing that it would be super convenient and easier than multiple registries for people to use Cut to 2 weeks before my shower and nothing is marked as purchased - even though relatives have told me what they’ve bought from it - because it requires people to go back to the registry page and mark the item

I am using babylist - if you're worried about completion discounts with other stores (like Amazon or Target, etc) you make your babylist public (with all its advantages) and just create private registries with those other vendors to get their completion discounts

Babylist will also compare prices for you from major retailers (ex: Amazon vs target) plus you can source from smaller retailers like Etsy I have a few items on my list from boutique websites too Babylist also has tons of helpful shopping guides comparing different products like strollers, breast pumps, car seats etc which is super helpful

I’m considering using BabyList for our registry instead of listing three separate baby registries from Amazon, Target, and Walmart I’m curious - for those that have used it and synced an external registry such as Amazon, does it still apply to your completion discount on Amazon if a friend purchases via the Babylist link?
