Azienda News:
- The ugly truth of Indeed. An HR viewpoint : r recruitinghell - Reddit
Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones
- “Not selected by employer” indeed : r jobs - Reddit
Note that in addition to being able to see resumes cover letter applicant info through the Indeed platform that the same info is emailed to the employer as well So if the employer chooses to just use those emails to choose their candidates, this may be the reason you got that message However, we don't know so we can't automatically assume
- Text message from indeed - is it legit? : r WorkOnline - Reddit
I actually hire people from indeed I will occasionally text to set up an interview But my primary focus is actually calling them I find going to the indeed site to contact via message or email a pain It's much swifter easier to get in direct contact But as an employer; if that is the exact text they sent you It is very poorly written
- Has anyone actually landed a job on Indeed : r jobs - Reddit
Last January I accepted a job that was posted on Indeed One of the worst positions I have ever held My SO also found a position in December and love love loves it, but he searched for well over a year Positions on Indeed are like the old school way of job searches with a newspaper Weed out the trash and apply at what appeals
- An Insight on Indeed from the Employer POV : r recruitinghell - Reddit
The free posts get less traction and are generally less visible on Indeed so I strictly utilize the paid version To provide a little context, I can post for a surgical tech and it could cost $75 per application, but a RN will cost $123 per application
- Beware of Realistic Indeed Scams : r jobs - Reddit
What I tend to do before I apply to something is look up the company online and see if they are listed on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor as well as having a seemingly legit company website Then I check the careers page on the company website and apply through there if they have an option to apply directly at the company instead of through Indeed
- Indeed Job Search - RSS Feed? : r rss - Reddit
Indeed notes that it has RSS feeds available, but there doesn't appear to be much documentation on how to customize the feed Indeed provides a sample feed which I've subscribed to and appears to work but I'd like to tailor further
- Is indeed a waste of time? : r jobs - Reddit
Indeed is only as good as the companies that post I also use it like III I use Indeed like a search engine to find jobs I like to go to the ompany website and make sure it's the actual company posting and the listing is still active And also gives me a chance to see what other jobs are posted on the site
- No response from Indeed application : r jobs - Reddit
So, Indeed says the employer is super responsive and has replied to 75% of applicants in 6 days They reviewed my application 4 days after I applied but have heard nothing since then Of course that was only 2 weeks ago but it says they are quick to respond The job is still on Indeed and still advertised on their website
- What are the best places to search for jobs except LinkedIn, Indeed etc . . .
12 months ago I had the same experience with indeed 6 months ago I changed up my process a bit I refreshed about 3 times a day (morning noon and evening) and only applied to jobs that had JUST been posted (I think the setting on indeed is "since last visit") I averaged 1 5 recruiter calls a day and ended up with 4 offers in a month
