Azienda News:
- Which news sources are the most credible in Canada?
I'm sure you'll have replies for anglo news sources, but for francophone news I tend to look at Le Devoir, Radio-Canada (CBC in french) and La Presse TVA Le journal de Montréal can have some good investigative journalism but overall is very mediocre I look at multiple news sources a day to compare
- Why CBC News feels far behind BBC? : r AskACanadian - Reddit
As the only Canadian news outlet not owned by PostMedia people should definitely give CBC a break BBC does way more than news as well, comedies, drama, sci-fi They also use the BBC to help their universities and trade schools train people for the private film and television industry Our only problems are a lack of vision and a lack of funding
- FREE and LEGAL live streams from Canada : r canadacordcutters - Reddit
- The links for the 24 7 news France 24 and main feed of ABC News Live appear to have become discontinued Their new live feeds appear to be locked behind session tokens, which are not stable here :-( However, I did locate an old list of France 24 feeds that do work and I have updated my master list with them
- Is the CBC actually biased? : r CanadaPolitics - Reddit
As for TV news--I regularly tune into newsworld, ctv news channel, global, ctv and cbc IMO, very rarely is there a different noticeable bias All these networks have a similar bent I love cbc radio Both 1 and 2 But then living on the east coast--local radio leaves much to be desired Love their music streams I use them a lot
- CBC vs. CTV vs. Global - SkyscraperPage Forum
Global has a minimal presence in the Maritimes (news program for the Maritimes is based out of Toronto), but I find the Global National News to be surprisingly good Although I dislike the CBC television news (especially since the loss of Mansbridge), I really enjoy CBC radio for their news and public affairs coverage
- ‘There’s some merit to the criticism that CBC has a left . . . - Reddit
the ivory tower owners of these news organizations arent micromanaging every new story to make sure it has a specific bent for example if they are covering a story about guns the cbc might give the anti-gun person an extra 3 minutes of speaking time over the other side thats the kind of subtle bias most people talk about

- CBC News Network channels missing on Bell Fibe TV? : r bell - Reddit
I'm in Toronto, and I've noticed recently that CBC News Network (channel 502 1502) has disappeared completely from my box in the last few days, as I usually leave it on for some background sound as I WFH
- Do people actually use CBC a lot here for news : r AskACanadian - Reddit
The CBC is definitely trying to now adjust to a new media landscape, but it remains a seriously professional news organization with widespread respect and part of the national conversation as we make societal decisions
- Fuck the CBC : r metacanada - Reddit
CBC did not care to follow up and still was spreading the false story, and linking it to Trump Again just yesterday, they had a report about ways you can relax from "All the bad news in the world today" while using examples of mean things Trump supporters supposedly did or said (like swastika spray paintings) as the example of the "bad news"
