How to integrate an appimage with your system, making it available in the menu, also enabling you to easily create a desktop or toolbar icon for it: 0- get the appimage file you want to use and don’t forget to make it executable: chmod u+x [full path to name_of_file appimage] (note you can do it from the file manager, if you want to)

At the present time I do use AppImages in a few places; predominantly to pick up either Ungoogled Chromium or Librewolf in a convenient format AND get them promptly after their release

However unofficial packages blessed by AppImage format creator are available => https: github com hawkeye116477 waterfox-deb-rpm-arch-AppImage#downloading-and-installing-appimage-packages and they have even better compatibility than official tarball (built on CentOS 7, glibc 2 17)

I wanted to let you know that I created AppImage package for Waterfox For now it's just repackaged official version from waterfoxproject org + added some useful things like desktop shortcut and settings
