Currently using NOAA weather for live weather, X P- E n h a n c e R v3 1 addon by pzorglub on the org works great with these addons, clouds look beautiful, real weather is downloaded frequently and much closer to real life than the default xplane11 live weather, and the script "SmoothWeather_plain lua" seems to work flawlessly with this

On a somewhat related note, XP real world weather seems to be off as of recently I had it showing storms at LFPG last night when there was none reported in the area, as well as overcast from -541ft (!?) with ceilings @ 10,000ft at KMSP when METAR stated visibility was 10sm and broken clouds @ 8,000ft

As mentioned in several threads on this forum (look here and here), the new weather engine in X-Plane 12 can cause extreme stutters every 60 seconds on some systems With my modest pc I normally get 25 to 30 FPS but every 60 seconds a huge stutter occurs and my FPS drops to 10
