Facebook Marketplace search is TERRIBLE - so I've started paying attention to the URL and how search works, and building out a list of custom search combinations not possible otherwise

My theory is that it is likley a bot farm that FB is using to make phony inquiries to make us think that FB marketplace is always poppin, when it really isnt, and is riffe with scammers I always use "reply with phone # and I will call you now to make arrangements" and that usually flushes out the serious buyers vs scammers or bots

I think it's totally acceptable, and generally that's how I do business If someone wants to assume you're a scammer because of that preference just end and leave the conversation, block them, and move along I feel like most people know that sales are paid for in cash on facebook marketplace, like you would any garage sale

So I made a second account, everything worked fine until I tried to use marketplace and then I was banned again automatically bc it was the same phone number So I went to Walmart and got a burner phone, bought the cheapest straight talk card, got a new number, and used that to make an account and it worked

Edit: I understand that commission jobs are different but so is Facebook marketplace You always want to accept cash when going through Facebook marketplace Otherwise, you're eventually going to run into a scammer I've actually stopped using it all together because it seems to be nothing but bots and scammers these days

I posted an apartment for rent on FB Marketplace Property Rentals section, adding the correct street address, leaving it visible when I view the listing itself, the map location shows correctly, but when I try to search for my listing in the map view it doesn't show up at all!

I've found I can use the Facebook mobile app to open marketplace, pull up my listings, see where it says my account is on hold, and tap "request review" button to get Meta to take another look at it I've done this three times so far and they just keep re-sending me the same template email every time
