Ok so I finally had a chance to do this diy on how to replace the motor mounts on a mk4 – Jetta Golf GTi GLi This includes both engine mount and transmission mount replacement I upgraded mine to stage 1 from BFI while I was at it but the process is pretty much the same for any brand you choose to go with or stock oem motor mount replacement

I have an mk4 jetta and my drivers side seat heater isn't working but the passenger side IS working So I have checked the fuse and it is one fuse for both meaning thats not the problem, so my guess is that the element is burnt out or the wiring somewhere is not covered Any ideas of what the problem is and how I should go about fixing it?

Sorry to have to post this but I have yet to get a bentley manual; guess i am just lazy Anyway, I was wondering what the torque spec was on Mk4's (1 8T GTI to be exact, although i don't think that makes a difference) Thanks for your help in advance!
