GPT Zero is a joke I was testing its accuracy after it flagged one of my assignments as written by AI when I wrote the majority of it myself without the use of ChatGPT I pasted assignments from previous years and it still says likely written by AI

The issue not that these detectors miss GPT written things; it's that anyone who writes well stands a pretty solid chance of ALSO being flagged as AI And given that people can lose jobs, lose contracts, get expelled from college, etc over the accusation of cheating by using AI, that makes those products exceptionally foolish and dangerous
