CX 4242 Preparation? I've heard and read that CX 4242 can be a difficult and time consuming class, but it is something that I am very interested in Are there any resources that can help me prepare for this class in some free time over the break?
- Should I take CX 4240 before CX 4242? : r gatech - Reddit
As a CS minor, I attempted to take CX 4242 first and immediately dropped it after first HW Taking CX4240 before CX 4242 only helped because I gained more coding experience between those semesters In terms of content, 4240 is 99% theoretical and there is very little portion that overlaps with 4242

(2) Polo (I think he is the only one that teaches it ) (1) Not IE CS Short Answer: yes Long(er) answer: honestly, I don't think the workload bothers CS majors as much because this kind of "stuff" happens a good bit in CS majors
- Which prof for math 4242? : r uofmn - Reddit
Hey I'm currently signed up for math 4242: applied linear algebra with Ru-yu Lai but have seen very mixed reviews on ratemyprof about her, and her gopher grade score is a bit low (but with little data)

I took 4242 in the spring, and I'd say that it can either be a breeze (if you have a decent amount of programming experience intuition) or very difficult I spent around 5-10 hours on every project (with the exception of the second one, which was somewhere between 10-20) and probably 30-45ish hours on the group one

This chip is the first real competition to Intel So expect prices for devices to drop And this chip is superior to Intel's Thunderbolt 4 solution because it is based on PCIe Gen4 so in theory can sustain twice the bandwidth - so you could have eGPU and SSD running simultaneously with little performance loss - at least in theory

My 4242 class didn't do any proofs at all, and it was all application Our prof would give us quick refreshers about concepts before getting into the content for the class The course load was also pretty light with one homework assignment per week, and he provided templates on how to do the homework
