453 000 DOH uses 453 000 458 000 as Courtesy patrol repeater here in Harrco and surrounding counties (marion, mon, taylor, dodd, ritchie, preston) Most are PL 186 2, but occasionally you will find DOH using PL 123 0 as well

The repeaters are on either 453 425 or 453 525 with the same traffic on both frequencies so you only need to monitor the frequency of the nearest repeater All Thruway zones are like this on the same frequency pair but with 97 4PL for Zones 1 3 and 123 0PL for Zones 2 4

I've heard cell phone converstations on frequencies in this range I don't know if this is true, but I've heard you can take the cell phone frequencies and divide by 2, and it can be possible to receive the conversation 453 8x2=907 6 That puts it into the cellphone band Every once in a while I'll hear one on a freq I listen to- I think it's

Something on 453 475 is pulsing transmit constantly every 2 seconds or so You can hear it once you get north of Madison Guilford and all through middletown etc It is very stong and will blow right over the legitimate Madison PD transmissions
