Just had my lease-end inspection done by AutoVin I was cautiously optimistic because he said my car was in great condition with the exception of needing 2 new front tires It would be ideal to just throw on 2 new tires and hand the car over but has anyone ever experienced a discrepancy between AutoVin and BMW’s inspections? I don’t want to get slapped with a bill even though I have a few

I was hoping that Autovin would provide a cost estimate for this damage, but Ryan, the inspector, did not include any photo of this, although I can see it in the 3 4 view right rear Should I contact AutoVin about this? I will be turning it in at the end of March I have EW T coverage - up to $1,000 I think I would get estimates from local shops before deciding whether or not to get it done

I called BMWFS twice to schedule a third party (AutoVIN) inspection for my upcoming lease return Both agents on the phone claimed that they don’t offer third party lease end inspections when the car is originally leased from a BMW dealer who does lease end inspections themselves Am I missing something or is there some magic phrase that I need to say to get this inspection scheduled?

Surprised that inspectors only say excess is $635 So spoke to a vcfs rep who said they are more less aligned with the 3rd party report and prices I used for BMW in past and had no issue there as well Of note quote at dealership to replace taillight was $1250 last week and only $600 with autovin Seems logical to just turn in the lease as-is and hope that truly only $635 out of pocket as

AutoVIN called the day of the inspection and canceled because they were having software issues The next available date was five days AFTER my lease maturity date I explained the situation and the phone rep said they would submit a request to fit in our inspection and it should not be a problem to find someone in time

Hello, I’m located in NYC and had autovin came out and do inspection on my car I just received the report and it looks like the damage that was indicated was recorded on a wrong panel Inspector referred to drivers door but that door is completely clean He did attach a picture which shows damage but i can’t find the correct panel where it came from Any suggestion what my recourse is? I have a 2015 Cadillac ATS that has one payment left on its lease The car was pre-inspected this week by Autovin All is good and I agree with most of the minor issues But im curious on a few things The Autovin inspector missed a spot on the hood where the clear coat is messed up (bird droppings) It’s roughly 1 inch by 2 inches big, and somewhat obvious Will the car be inspected again
