- Aggregation Switch - what’s the purpose of it? Am I using it . . . - Reddit
An Aggregation or "Top-of-Rack" switch is designed to connect everything in a rack at high speeds, then have an even bigger pipe out to the rest of the network The Pro Aggregation does this with it's SFP28 25Gbps ports
- Noob question: I setup port aggregation and it says LACP . . . - Reddit
Noob question: I setup port aggregation and it says LACP disabled this port, but the Aggregate speed is 2Gbps Is it disabled or not??
- About aggregation: Can someone explain aggregation when it . . . - Reddit
Aggregation at a router allows you to reduce your backhaul physical link requirements to save costs Enterprise routers have 400gbps and beyond interfaces that occupy only a single fibre pair DWDM transmission systems can take 50+ 400gbps links and aggregate (multiplex) those into a single fibre pair
- How to Set Up Link Aggregation (Tutorial) : r synology - Reddit
You need a switch supporting link aggregation You WILL lock yourself out of your NAS if you try and set this up with a switch that doesn't support link aggregation (though you CAN reset your NAS if necessary - please confirm first) This is only true for the link aggregation method chosen in the tutorial
- Is Link Aggregation even worth it for my use case (or are the . . . - Reddit
I was thinking about setting up Link Aggregation to enable multiple (two) connections to simultaneously access a DiskStation with (theoretically) 1Gbit s = 125MB s each Is that even worth it if the HDDs in the NAS have a speed rating of only a) 180 MB s or b) 220 MB s each? 2x125MB s would not be possible with either drive anyhow it appears, so all the added hassle of setting up Link

- WAN aggregation through switch? : r Ubiquiti - Reddit
On the switch I have 3 ports set up in a VLAN group Two of the ports are setup for aggregation and the third port is a 10GbE SFP+ Modem goes to the two LAGG RJ45s and the SFP+ goes to the WAN SFP+ on the UDMP My speed tests shows right around 1 4gig which is right what I would expect on a 1 2 gig connection after over provisioning
