I am interested in fly fishing the Russian for trout in mid July for Rainbows I am interested to know what type of flies they will be interested in at this time I would assume beads would work, but was considering throwing dry's, nymph's, leaches, etc I would be very appreciative on any info

- What type of knot do you tie tippet to your leader with?
I am in the rarity here I am sure, but I have never tied tippet onto my leader I use the 7 5-10' leaders and when I use them up from tying on new flies, I tie on a new leader Works pretty good for most fishing I have done However, will be fishing beads on the Upper Kenai Sept 18-30 I

Was wondering if anybody have fished the upper and had some info on what has been working ive been fishing it for trout every sunday since jul 25, and have noticed that it went from red to orange last week i was using a milky orange 6 mm and i had alot of success with trout and dollies it

I will be fishing the Russian for Sockeye the first week of August and I would like to also try for rainbows and or dollies in the area (hopefully after getting my limit of reds) Specifically for rainbows and dollies, would you suggest a floating, sinking, or sinking tip line? Would you use
