I read about Belsomra, and like many was concerned about the generally negative reviews But I got desperate enough that I hectored my sleep doctor to write a rx It was for 15 mg I filled it, paid $420 out of pocket for 30 pills, but figured wtf, what did I have to lose I took it last night sort of on the late side, around 11:40

I tried Belsomra 15 mg which worked a couple of times but doesn’t after a couple of nights I tried adding a half 15 on top of a 15 mg pill and went down for the count like nothing else - 8 hours of deep sleep I’m wondering if I might do better on one of the newer drugs

Honestly, I only ended up belsomra for a couple of months, I have RA, rheumatoid arthritis, and my immune system started attacking my lungs Took nearly 6months to figure out the cause, but because it had a 2% change of causing a cough, they pulled me off of it As for dreaming, yes I did have some dreams on the belsomra

My doctor said there’s no evidence of Belsomra withdrawal syndrome even after people take nightly for a year I’m surprised it had such negative reviews on everyday health and other sites It looks like a lot of people were taken off Ambien cold-turkey and were put on Belsomra That and maybe it just doesn’t work for some people
