My brother owned the Blue Bandit Gto for a short time in the early 70's He sold it to a Pontiac collector who at the time was around Olney Illinois He found the car again a year or two ago It is in a building in Texas , but the guy wouldn't price it He said Don Gay had tried to buy it back before he died

That is the Blue Thunder 4v dp intake they are a dealer Not a bad intake, but the Stealth is easier to obtain I would not expect to see an incredible difference between the Stealth the dual 4 bbl , unless the carburetors on the 2x4 are not tuned effectively

Blue lenses in the center of the red were standard equipment on 32-34 Packard V-12 models, as well as V-12 and V-16 Cadillacs from 31 thru 34, I think It was a way to distinguish the car from the lesser models at night

Never seen the amber dots The blue dots have been on my 33 pickup longer than I have been alive Never been haggled by the police here with them here in Oregon I will agree the glass blue dot is the only one that works, they are really bright when the lights are on Had some with the plastic dot and all it really did was cover up alot of light

no i bought the car in Az, when i got it home i found the blue tag on the door jam but like i said i can't read it, well i can read some but not all i wish there was a way to use some chemical to bring the #'s out, if you have any idea what i can do please let me know

The blue comes from a lean condition that heats up the pipe and turns it blue A trick I used to use on the bikes (and not all of tem have heat shields) was to spray some Bar-B-Q paint in the pipe, and let it cure This would provide a thermal barrier fro a while until you get your tune up set up right

The Blue-Dots have become "legend" so the reality of the matter is lost in the fog of memories and dreams From all I have read and heard from "old-timers" they were never the norm in car circles, never universally popular throughout the country, and ceased being available sometime around 1957-58

I actually started this thread to ask about the various shades of blue I see that are all called "Washington Blue", and as I was researching for the thread it occurred to me that 1 true Washington Blue will appear different shades, depending on the lighting, and 2, slight differences in formulation result in slightly different shades, and this
