Is it an external circuit or a bad battery Repeat the process (were using the boat and when you put it up it discharged the batt) and prior to storage, remove one of the battery terminals Will answer the question If the battery holds with wires disconnected it is leakage in an external ckt

Around here a John boat has a flat bottom and square bow Thanks for the input on taking the seat out As to your question about the v-hull being called a john boat, well the only thing I can say is around here this boat is commonly known as a John boat or Utility boat I believe the proper name for the boat is Utility boat

Re: HOW to remove old gas from internal gas tank the boat is out of the water and time get going on this project bummer- of course, the sending unit is someplace that is not easily accessible would hate to take off the helm so that being said, can i pull the fuel from the line that leaves the tank and hits the water fuel sep??
