- Anyone have experience with D2L Brightspace? - Reddit
I wish you luck Ostensibly you can export Blackboard courses and import them directly into Brightspace; effectively, you have to go through the imported course in Brightspace to check each element of each course and, in many cases, reset links and the like I should think, also, you'll be working on formatting after importing as well
- Word document submissions through Brightspace having issues
I do my writing through the webpage of Word provided by SNHU's Office 365 and submit my assignments through OneDrive on the Brightspace submission portal No professor has docked me nor said anything about my prior submissions until I got a feedback commenting on my papers spacing and formatting Upon downloading the paper, it's completely borked
- Thoughts on Brightspace after almost a year? : r Purdue - Reddit
How good Brightspace is seems to depend heavily on who the professor is The MA 166 is page is setup really badly mostly because everything is sent through Brightspace announcements leaving the actual course page to be empty Contrast that to SCLA 101 EDPS 315 which I thought was pretty decently setup on Brightspace
- We switched to Brightspace and. . . : r Professors - Reddit
There’s a learning curve, but you have more adaptability and contouring control with Brightspace Start with the Course Builder feature (content organization), then uploading docs and PDFs The basic dropboxes are pretty easy to set up; they do have a lot of options (dates, preferred files, etc), but just setting one up and opening or closing
- Opinions on Brightspace platform? : r Professors - Reddit
And it's not just me My entire class finds it difficult to navigate Blackboard was fine as it was I also have a background in accessible web development and Brightspace just isn't accessible It's just really not user friendly for students Again, I know this is r professor but I figured professors would appreciate student feedback
- need to choose between D2L and Canvas. : r instructionaldesign - Reddit
I've got five years of experience working with D2L Brightspace, and two years of experience with Canvas I would say that overall Canvas is more user-friendly, but it sacrifices some amount of flexibility and customization because of that friendliness
- I can’t find my comments ANYWHERE for my last discussion . . . - Reddit
In Brightspace, select your class, then click your profile icon on the top right corner Select “Progress” and then under Discussions choose “Posts Authored” It will show you every discussion post and reply you’ve written for that class
- Brightspace and cheating : r CarletonU - Reddit
I was a TA; We can see when you switch away from brightspace to another tab but can't see what the other tab is If it's a quiz or exam its still considered an academic integrity violation The easier solution to this is not to cheat I know how tempting it is but if you've made it to university you've can do it
