Thanks guys Lots of good info here 2 guys will be in a 15 ft canoe, 2 guys in a 17 ft canoe, and 2 of us will be in our 14 ft nucanoes I am sure the guys in the canoes can make better time, but my 40 inch wide nucanoe paddles and tracks surprisingly well
- very fast boat ! - TexasKayakFisherman. com
It's the toughest canoe race in the world - started in 1963 The record, set by a 6-man boat in 29½ hours The solo record is 35 hours[ quote] Might be fun to make a 2 day relaxing trip from Aquarena Springs to Zedler Mill Don't think the FULL 262 miles would be too much fun in a Mantaray 14!!

- Devils River – Water Level Issues? - TexasKayakFisherman. com
I do a lot of canoe poling on the rapids of the San Marcos and Guadalupe in a fiberglass Kevlar canoe and wanted to bring it because of the low draft and ability to pole in shallow water However, I have never been to the Devils River, so I don’t know what to expect other than from seeing the great trip reports here
