How do I see student comments on assignments? They can find a link to my comments on their grade list, but I don't have a place to access (or even know they've made) student comments on assignments without going through each person on SpeedGrader Is there an easier way to get notified?

I accidentally click the submit assignment button without attaching the file first, so canvas notified me that it can't pass an empty submission However, as I tried to click "Upload File", the button does not work, it just become unresponsive no matter how many tries I do it

I am a teacher and relative novice user of Canvas (<1yr) I noted a discrepancy between the Android-based Canvas user interface that of browser-based Canvas The Android Canvas menu scheme has a selection for Notifications Chrome or other browser-based Canvas user interfaces do not This leaves me asking where the Notifications are located, ie, how to get to them Having been in I T support

By the way, student_id is probably referencing the Canvas ID of the student (which is the Canvas identifier and is probably different from other identifiers for the student) Hope this helps! 1 person found this solution to be helpful

For all intents and purposes, authentication in Canvas is not device dependent meaning it will be the same whether you're using an app on a mobile device, a mobile browser, or a desktop browser If your institutional support entity cannot offer a solution themselves they should be able to escalate to Instructure via a support case
