Not exactly the same as wallpaper engine, but Lively Wallpaper (available in windows store and github, free) would probably have been my go-to wallpaper effects app if I didn't have wallpaper engine I recommend the windows store app so it gets auto-updated

When added to Lively and used as a wallpaper, I only see the thumbnail image (looks awful on 5120x1440) It works correctly on the host's website though, so I'm wondering whether this has to do with the importing of the shader into Lively, or whether it's the shader itself (or some kind of incompatibility)
