Hi everyone, I’m 30 I’ve had x3 HPV positive smears now (2020, 2021 and 2022) with no abnormal cells and was referred for a colposcopy She said it wasn’t urgent but I needed a biopsy, as I was going on holiday in 2 days she said they would book me another appt for this which has come through for 8th August Ever since the colposcopy I have such a feeling of dread and wake up in the

My initial biopsy from my colposcopy came back as a mix of CIN1 and CIN2, so to then be told that what they took out is CIN3 is a little worrying - either the results were wrong the first time around, or the cells have progressed very quickly!

Hello Ladies, Last December i had my first ever smear and within a week the nurse from my drs surgery rang to tell me that i had mild cell changes and high risk HPV so would need to go for a colposcopy I was completely devastated and i spent Christmas and New Year completely miserable and stressed I had my colposcopy and the Dr put me onto yearly screening I had put it to the back of my mind

I can’t fault the experience, it’ll be three weeks to the day from smear to colposcopy, and I think you really can’t ask for more than that! But I am a little disappointed not to have received any results from my smear test

My last colposcopy in February was clear, however 6 months after I am experiencing symptoms of cervical cancer My question is can I go from clear colposcopy to full blown cancer in 6 months or less?

Is cervical screening same as smear test? 6years ago I’ve been diagnosed with CIN2 but no HPV I had colposcopy and LEEP treatment to remove abnormal tissue I had cervical screening recently and received results which was only saying that I do not have HPV Do they still do PAP test as well or only checking HPV?

Another trip to colposcopy in Feb where I saw a different gynaecologist and he took biopsies this time A week later got called back and diagnosed with cc and told I’d have a hysterectomy Then 2 weeks later got called back again, told to bring my partner with me and was told I was stage 3 and couldn’t have surgery as too advanced
