Well, the official "123Movies" was shutdown back in 2018, so anything you're finding today is just a "clone" site at best or a spam-suppository of viruses more likely tl;dr - they're free because the stream isn't the product You (the user) are the product, and you're being sold to third-party advertisers and data-thieves

Yeah but I don't see them I'm actually on that site right now lol I use an app on my TV, it's the one with a red line through a circle as the icon On PC and my phone I also block ads but I do remember them being there I don't think they don't pop up during playback though

The WORST hands down is Primewire ag 1Channel Horrible site that has multiple popups that try to give you a virus EACH TIME YOU CLICK ON ANYTHING ON THEIR SITE Way over the top annoying Plus, the links are always broken or do not work So each time you think you are clicking on a link to watch the movie it turns out to be a dud
