I don't have a mortgage with Santander, but would fill up the 6% saver and have all my bills coming out of my 123 Lite account at the moment I'm not sure how to figure out which will be better I'm not sure what I get cashback from currently or if there is more with the Edge

Santander online banking is down this morning There have been multiple reports on downdetector co uk and on the Santander X site Santander say they are aware and are working on it but also that the app is working fine I can concur with that having just logged into the app

Can be useful to have at least one separate account or even keeping just 1 account with Santander incase other things come up or you want to budget or something As a more general thing it probably isn't providing you have a better account elsewhere

My mother has now got online banking with Santander and initially logged in with the temporary ID she received I told her this would change to the 16-digit number on her debit card (like mine is) but apparently this is not the case She recalls having to choose some login passwords or sequences but can't quite remember
