- What exactly is and ENB? : r skyrimmods - Reddit
Yes! an enb is a very customisable all in one shaders, when you see "new" enb's what you see next to them is a word "preset" example: "Ruby enb preset" So it's a preset of shaders designed for specific estetic or sometime adjusted for specific weather patterns intended to work with another Graphic mod

Sorry if this has been asked already but after a little bit of searching i cant find the answer anywhere, Is there a way to change the ENB menu open key combo from shift+enter? - ENB or Community Shaders? : r skyrimmods - Reddit
ENB is really demanding though and like other comments suggested try the ENB compatible upscaler It supports AMD, Intel and Nvidia upscalers Community shaders is a good project and it's performance friendly but it does not have all the features ENB has, if you don't mind sacrificing a little bit of visual quality it's a good alternative

- 2023 Enb Comparison, Rudy, Patrician, Pi Cho, Cabbage, Ebony
Rudy Obsidian is held back by the outdated weather Patrician is held back by a whack weather Ebony and any light ENB for that matter, is just not competitive You can take a tier 1 ENB, turn off some effects, and get same FPS and much much better artistic direction PICHO is a decent alternative if you want lighter colors
- How do you correctly uninstall an ENB? : r skyrimmods - Reddit
From here, just install your ENB preset of choice Next time you want to change ENB presets, whether in two weeks or two hours, just delete everything listed above, and reinstall fresh Since ENB just a post-processing effect, you shouldn't need to worry about any lingering files
