Well this is a bit tricky, but here is what I can tell you The Epiphone by Gibson branding, as seen on the label, didn't start until 1986 It's possible that it began a little earlier, possibly 84 or 85, as this was a transition period for Epiphone and yours has an early logo But the branding started en masse in 86 for sure
