The Finale manual seems to use the word highlight exclusively for selecting text or music for subsequent operations So maybe they use a different word for the background coloring I'm talking about Does anyone know if it's possible?

"Thanks for contacting MakeMusic customer support I did some testing with custom percussion MIDI maps in Finale 2011 and I believe that the issue is a defect with the program It doesn't seem to be specifically related to OSX 10 9, since I get the same behavior in OSX 10 8 Finale is able to create the new XML file, but it is unable to write

Hello Finale Forum, I'm having problems with Finale 2012 and the Audio Units playback audio output (Everything works fine in "Play Finale Through MIDI") In my set-up, I use a MOTU 828mk3 as my audio interface and my monitors are connected to the Main Out 1-2 outputs of the 828mk3
