Re: Fingerhut - Not sure what to do Creditors can, and routinely do, close inactive accounts It costs them $$ to retain active account monitoring in order to fulfill their oblitations to either update prior reporting under the FCRA or to send a billing statement under requirments of the Fair Credit Billing Act
