I tried to create a new Administrator Account and I got a message that the SAM file is opened in another location I restarted that computer before doing that but again, the SAM file is locked and cannot open it either I notice a file dated recently (about the time the virus started) named bootstat dat in the System folder

On my C:\ drive, I have one system protected + hidden file called bootTel dat Surprisingly, Windows lets me rename or delete the file, and if I look at the 'Security' tab, I see Everyone has full permissions against this file Which means, I can just right click and delete it

Tried to attach the VHD to Disk Management but it didn't recognize the file system until we attached it in a Read Only mode We used another portable windows but it couldn't also detect the file system and it asked to format both partitions on this virtual machine any hint ?
