- Clarification on the Robbins Flying R Hallmark
The earliest hallmark I know of is the incised hallmark that appears on certain pin back insignia as shown on the examples below Robbins used several different hallmarks and made a lot of insignia, especially for the Boy Scouts

Fellow collectors, I am on a quest to determine when GEMSCO used the hallmark GEMSCO AGO G2 on their insignia We have all seen these markings on numerous badges Curiously I have never seen just G2 used by itself which should be correct for GEMSCO in the 1960-1965 timeframe Also GEMSCO used G22

Their hallmark was an upright sign post with an arrow pointing east and a sign with a bell hanging from the arrow To answer your question about Bell Jump wings being made or issued during WWII, I do not know

The bottom one is marked LGB Sterling and the one above it is marked BALFOUR Sterling 1B which is the later hallmark Five of these wings have the distinctly different design found on some older parachute wings
