Hey y'all, I just started streaming on Kick like 3 weeks ago As a creator, I made the switch from Twitch to Kick just to see what's good I noticed that Twitch finally allowed multi-streaming a few months ago, that is fantastic and people should be able to get in front of as many audiences as possible, it's a big help when it comes to Content

Kick is essentially a Twitch clone, with a similar UI, style, and directory lists Currently, Kick is using Amazon Live Streaming as their backend, so performance-wise it's similar to Twitch In my opinion, Kick is definitely going to be one of Twitch's biggest competitors

The only solution is to keep your creator dashboard tabbed open on pc and keeping up even when not streaming Also if you go to your chat and enter the @ as if you are about to @someone, the a lot of the viewers will show as a suggestio

If you have a low amount of viewers, kick has confirmed that they will limit the stream to 720p transcoded If your viewers chatters pickup, they'll bump it back to 1080p Max official bitrate is 8k, but I've seen 10k stable regularly

According to Trainwreck, who is an advisor and streamer on Kick, the hourly pay is part of a Kick Creator Program that will have a manual approval application process to weed out fake accounts¹ The program is still in the works and has not been officially launched yet²³
