- Just got my Flint 2 yesterday, extremely Poor WiFi performance . . .
On 2 5 G I get 10 Mbps or some such ridiculous speed, on 5G I get 300 Mbps And I am connected to my Dream machine Pro which has Gigabit internet, through wan I even tried a pre-release firmware, without any changes It is set in AP mode ( Wi-Fi access point ), and signal goes through 2 walls

The 2 4ghz range is different (farther reach for the same signal level) from 5ghz range With three access points I would consider using a unique SSID for 5ghz and for 2 4ghz
- WiFi and subnet configuration help - MT6000 Flint2
Create a brand new SSID for 2 4Ghz Wifi with a new IOT subnet (192 168 30 0 24) with access to WAN only - and I am quite OK with disabling the standard 2 4GHz wifi which is delivered OOTB linked to the the LAN interface
- Wireless - GL. iNet Router Docs 4
In the router's web Admin Panel, go to WIRELESS -> 5GHz Wi-Fi or 2 4GHz Wi-Fi, BSSID option is enabled by default As a result, the device uses a randomly generated BSSID and renews it at each booting
